As many of you know, every year I organise a Butterflies for Lupus Showcase which is a collection of original butterfly art collected and showcased to raise awareness for the disease Lupus.
As you know I collect butterfly designs every year to raise awareness for the disease Lupus, I showcase the original butterfly art on www.butterfliesforlupus.com.
This year however the Butterflies for Lupus Showcase 2019 will be hosted as an Instagram Challenge: Chasing Butterflies.
Some of you will already know that I collect butterfly designs to celebrate World Lupus Day which takes place on May 10th every year. For every design I receive, I make a small donation to Lupus UK. This year marks the 5th year and a brand new website has appeared to make the occasion even more professional and give visual support to the initiative
I have created a small website www.butterfliesforlupus.com to help the project grow so I now have a place where I can house all my butterfly designs and they will remain in archives as a record for everyone who has taken the time and made an effort to draw a butterfly for me.
My new sketchbook bought from IKEA was a bit of a let down. The paper is not of the quality that I am used to and I was at first very disillusioned with it.
I am a finalist in the CarpetVista Design Competition 2016. CarpetVista are a company based in Malmö, Sweden. It is the largest carpet shop online and offer a range of more than over 40.000 carpets. In this year’s edition they have received more than 19,000 entries from 90 countries!
If you are reading this it means you are looking at my new website, thanks for popping by.
It has taken me a long time to prepare, an authentic ‘labour of love’ but I am very proud to say it shows off some of my best designs and I hope you will enjoy having a look around.
